This year has been crazy busy! I have been so bad about updating this site and I apologize for that, however.... Lambs are here!!!
All 12 ewes delivered for us this year and boy did they deliver! We have 22 live and healthy lambs.
Birthing started on 3/4/2022 and ended Wednesday, 4/6/2022. Everybody had multiples this year with one triplet the rest are twins. 12 ewe lambs and 10 ram lambs.
We should have Codon testing done and results back by April 29th so we will know who we will keep in tact as rams well before then. Vet check should be done first of June, so lambs should be able to go to their new homes between June 15th and June 30th.
RR Ram lamb Born 1/23/2021
Pricing:
Lamb Ewe or Ram with one registry of your choice $650. Each additional registry $25. For all three registries a ram or ewe will be $700. Wethers are $500 unregistered. Basic Vet check will be done prior to all sheep leaving the farm. If additional vet testing is required by you, or your state, I can arrange that, but it is at your cost. Codon testing for ewe's who are unknown will be done with second CDT shots. Rams will be RR.
Two of my ewes have been identified by NABSSAR as spot gene carriers. As such, these lambs will be available with OEBR and BSSBA registry only. If you are looking for a ram, possibly carrying a spot gene, please let us know soon so we do not wether them.
We require a $100 deposit to reserve an animal. Until we have a deposit in hand all animals are considered still for sale and available on a first come first serve basis (some exceptions apply). We will accept deposits after the lambs are born.
The cost of all health certificates and tests that are required for transporting out of Washington are the responsibility of the buyer We will accommodate reasonable testing but it must be paid for by buyer in advance.
All Lambs need to be picked up within 30 days of purchase or 30 days of weening. If they stay longer a fee may be added for maintaining the animal during that time.
All of our Southdown Babydoll lambs are given CD/T shots and will have their tails docked.
Lambs will be registered in good faith with all registries requested. We cannot guarantee that the registry will not at some point remove the sheep from the registry.
We make no guarantee that our lambs are all tame and friendly. Our lambs stay with their moms and they are socialized with the sheep, not people.
We do keep a waiting list of buyers interested in lambs. If you are interested in being placed on the list, please contact us. All persons on waiting list will be first come first serve. If you do not respond to email, phone call within a day or two we will move to the next on the list
We reserve the right to retain any baby, regardless of outside reservations. This is for the purpose of keeping and improving our own stock. However, we will do our best to meet the needs of outside reservations. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell to any buyer for any reason.
