2023 Lambs are here! We have had some cancellations this year. We have 3 ewe lambs available as well as rams and wethers. Pictures are still coming (my day job is getting in the way of the farm). Call or email if you are interested.
I will have pictures coming soon, but we are lambing now. We have 20 lambs on the ground, 10 ewe lambs 10 ram lambs 1 ewe left to deliver. We are heavy on the blacks this year but I have two adorable healthy bottle baby black ewes in the house for the friendliest of sheep. These two will be going back out to the barn shortly, one of them was born on Thursday so she needs a little more time with the midnight feeding.
Pricing:
Lamb Ewe or Ram with Olde English Babydoll Sheep registry as a start for $700. BSSBA and BSRA are an additional $25 each. We have had issues with NABSSAR and believe it is a higher risk registry, therefor to get NABSSAR registered lambs it will be an additional $100. For all 4 registries a ewe or ram would cost $850. Wethers are $600 unregistered.
Basic Vet check will be done prior to all sheep leaving the farm. If additional vet testing is required by you, or your state, I can arrange that, but it is at your cost. Codon testing for ewe's who are unknown will be done with second CDT shots. Rams will be RR. My flock was tested again in 2022 for OPP, CL and Johne's and are all negative.
Two of my ewes have been identified by NABSSAR as spot gene carriers. As such, these lambs will be available with OEBR BSRA and BSSBA registry only.
We require a $100 deposit to reserve an animal. Until we have a deposit in hand all animals are considered still for sale and available on a first come first serve basis (some exceptions apply). We will accept deposits after the lambs are born.
The cost of all health certificates and tests that are required for transporting out of Washington are the responsibility of the buyer We will accommodate reasonable testing but it must be paid for by buyer in advance.
All Lambs need to be picked up within 30 days of purchase or 30 days of weening. If they stay longer a fee may be added for maintaining the animal during that time.
All of our Southdown Babydoll lambs are given CD/T shots and will have their tails docked.
Lambs will be registered in good faith with all registries requested. We cannot guarantee that the registry will not at some point remove the sheep from the registry.
We make no guarantee that our lambs are all tame and friendly. Our lambs stay with their moms and they are socialized with the sheep, not people.
We do keep a waiting list of buyers interested in lambs. If you are interested in being placed on the list, please contact us. All persons on waiting list will be first come first serve. If you do not respond to email, phone call within a day or two we will move to the next on the list
We reserve the right to retain any baby, regardless of outside reservations. This is for the purpose of keeping and improving our own stock. However, we will do our best to meet the needs of outside reservations. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell to any buyer for any reason.
