May 6th, All animals are spoken for at this time. Still have 3 ewes left to deliver, so if you are interested, please feel free to contact us.
May 2nd, We still have 3 ewes left to deliver. They could be as late as mid July. We have had 18 lambs, mostly sold, but we do have a register-able white ewe and a black ewe that will not be registered. She has a crooked tail so will go as a pet
April 11th, 7 sets of multiples, 15 babies born, 5 white, 10 black. 6 girls 9 boys. 5 ewes left to delver and they were all with the white ram, so this is probably it for blacks for us.
April 7th, two more sets of twins, one black one white each. Three boys one girl (who is black). Three bottle babies now. Busy times. Pictures as soon as I can.
April 1st, saw our first lambs of the year. Twin blacks, then the 3rd gave us twin whites. Last night, on the 4th we had triplets for the first time, all black. Pictures below of the two sets of twins, but none of the triplets yet. If you are interested feel free to contact me.
2020 Lambing is coming fast. We should start by March 25th if someone doesn't pop early. Girls are all in the yard with the barn, so they can go in and chill if needed. We have 12 ewes that are pregnant by 2 different rams. It looks like lots of twins this year hopefully. We do not do ultrasounds so it is a wait and see game.
We just got the results back for Johne's OPP and CL and the flock is good. We had three ewes who were hard to draw and we will have to get them when the vet comes, but they were good last year, so should be fine this year.
Lamb Ewe or Ram with one registry of your choice $550. Each additional registry $25. For all three registries a ram or ewe will be $600. Wethers are $400 unregistered. Basic Vet check will be done prior to all sheep leaving the farm. If additional vet testing is required by you, or your state, I can arrange that, but it is at your cost. Codon testing for ewe's who are unknown will be done with second CDT shots.
We require a $100 deposit to reserve an animal. Until we have a deposit in hand all animals are considered still for sale and available on a first come first serve basis (some exceptions apply). We will accept deposits after the lambs are born.
The cost of all health certificates and tests that are required for transporting out of Washington are the responsibility of the buyer We will accommodate reasonable testing but it must be paid for by buyer in advance.
All Lambs need to be picked up within 30 days of purchase or 30 days of weening. If they stay longer a fee may be added for maintaining the animal during that time.
All of our Southdown Babydoll lambs are given CD/T shots and will have their tails docked.
We make no guarantee that our lambs are all tame and friendly. Our lambs stay with their moms and they are socialized with the sheep, not people.
We do keep a waiting list of buyers interested in lambs. If you are interested in being placed on the list, please contact us. All persons on waiting list will be first come first serve. If you do not respond to email, phone call within a day or two we will move to the next on the list
We reserve the right to retain any baby, regardless of outside reservations. This is for the purpose of keeping and improving our own stock. However, we will do our best to meet the needs of outside reservations. We also reserve the right to refuse to sell to any buyer for any reason.
